In the Pop-up, please select ‘Delegated Permissions’9.png

Set the API Permissions

These are captured in table format below for ease of reference.

The "Admin consent required" column shows the default value for an organization. However, user consent can be customized per permission, user, or app. This column may not reflect the value in your organization, or in organizations where this app will be used. Learn more

The table below shows the permissions that our app requires.

*Required What it does
Workspace.ReadWrite.All List and create workspaces, list workspace users, import reports
Dataset.ReadWrite.All Update parameters and data sources, start refreshes, set schedules, **read refresh history**
Report.ReadWrite.All Import, list reports and pages, rebind
Content.Create Import `.pbix` files
Gateway.ReadWrite.All Set dataset credentials (the app updates the gateway data source)
App.Read.All "Log Customer Details" → customer apps

API Permissions - Admin Consent - Please make sure that Admin consent required is set to No.  If not done, then this delays report deployment as we would need to send a new request to the admin to approve when we are ready to deploy the reports.

When prompted to do so, click on the "Grant admin consent" option.

Finally, copy the APP ID from the App Details page and send this to us (provisioning@cognition360.com)12.png

By following these steps, you can continue to embed Power BI reports into your applications programmatically, aligning with the updated process after the deprecation of the previous setup tool.
