This article explains when Cognition360 refreshes your data and what to expect for daily cut‑off times.

 

At a glance (local time, approximate)

  • Every 3 hours: Incremental data sync from ConnectWise Manage to Cognition360
  • Around 11:00 PM: Daily data processing in the Cognition360 Data Warehouse
  • Between 6:00–8:00 AM: Power BI reports refresh in your Power BI tenant

As a result, data from the previous day is generally available by about 8:00 AM the following morning.

Note: All times are approximate. The exact timing can vary between partners and may change over time.

 

Daily data cut‑off (tickets, time entries, etc.)

The daily processing run uses the data that is available at the time it starts (around 11:00 PM local time).

Because incremental syncs run every 3 hours, the last sync that feeds the overnight processing can fall anywhere between about 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM, and this window can change from day to day based on the 3‑hour schedule.

This means:

  • Activity before that last 3‑hour sync (typically sometime between 8:00–11:00 PM) will be included in the next morning’s reports.
  • Activity after that last sync is usually picked up in the following day’s refresh.

 

Can I trigger the daily processing during the day?

No. The daily processing step cannot be run ad hoc in the middle of the day.

  • It can take 8+ hours in some environments.
  • It is designed to run overnight to avoid performance impact during business hours.
  • Even if started during the day, it would likely still complete overnight, with no real benefit.
