Your ConnectWise instance is hosted on-premises. Although you’ve installed the service, Cognition360 Support has informed you that no data is being received on our end.

Below is a list of potential causes and their solutions. Please note, do not re-install the service before speaking with us:

  1. Incorrect SQL Server or Database Name
Check the configuration file (.config) in the service’s installation folder. Under the “connection strings” section, verify that the SQL Server and database names are correct. If they aren’t, update them accordingly.

  2. Incorrect SQL Account Credentials
If the username or password is wrong, open the configuration file and update the connection string with the correct credentials.

  3. Insufficient SQL Account Permissions
If the account credentials are correct, ensure that the SQL account has the necessary read permissions (db_datareader) for the ConnectWise database.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be related to infrastructure. In most cases, we can help you quickly identify and fix the issue during a support call.
